@aurah786: Piers Morgan has accused Reform UK’s Zia Yusuf of racism after Yusuf highlighted that Sagal Abdi-Wali, the reported frontrunner to become Labour’s candidate in the upcoming Holborn and St Pancras by-election, was born in Somalia. Abdi-Wali came to the UK as a child refugee in the early 1990s and has served as leader of Camden Council since May. In a tweet on X on 2 September, Yusuf wrote that Abdi-Wali was “born in Somalia” and asked: “Do you understand what’s happening?” In response, Morgan wrote on X: “So disgusting. You’re the son of Sri Lankan Muslim immigrants to the UK, you racist clown.” Yusuf was born in Scotland to Sri Lankan Muslim parents and co-founded the a the luxury concierge company Velocity Black.
