u wouldn't know it (swipe across). nobody really did. but this was me at my absolute lowest. a combination of a recent medical diagnosis. some unresolved traumas. unaddressed emotional wounds. overwork. & the sudden loss of several people close to me. had me on the edge of nothingness. a dark grey cloud hovered over my head. constantly. I stared blankly into space for what seemed like eternity. my heart literally pounded thru my chest from the second I woke up. I was in a pretty bad place n didn't know how to get out. luckily my sisters realised n both worked to help me thru. regular check-ins. food. puppy play dates. & a trip away with family in nature. they knew I needed it. while away on that weekend I wrote. it was the only way I could begin to try process or even observe the place I was in. poetry. music. raps. all of it. just stream of consciousness shit. one of which eventually turned into the song I've been teasing recently. it's called
