Lake Michigan tried to claim me for her own when I was only 3 years old. I was just floating in my inner tube happy as a clam, when I noticed I was seeing fewer and fewer people around me. Then I heard yelling and my mom and her boyfriend were swimming towards me as fast as they could, because I was nearly to the tide and I would have been swept out to sea. I still love swimming in lake Michigan

the stone formation is 1 of 2 theorized things, a mile long hunting wall by people from thousands of years ago or more along the lines of glaciers dropping stones, which is less likely since its practically a straight line

Two weeks into knowing my ex we got stranded in his boat and had to wait for coast guard. It was 3 in the morning. He cut our anchor because she’s stupid. The lake went from calm to 8 foot waves and I just accepted this is how I’m going to die and just laughed
