I’m also observing traps being set for senior leadership around DOA and compliance change without the ability to correctly implement which then is a smoking gun for dismissal

In New Zealand it is 2 reasons, 1. once you make a job redundant, you cannot replace that job with someone else and 2. incompetent management, they feel threatened by someone that is great below them, incompetent people surround themselves with incompetent people to protect their jobs, makes me sick this goes on in large companies.

She missed out on my job. Unqualified and scorned. If I said black, she said white. Small team had the Xmas dinner on the only date I couldn’t attend. The disrespect was blatant. They said they didn’t like me. So I left and they acted surprised and offended 🤷♀️
