@ghetto.pamoja: Meet some of our new participants ready for the new opportunity rising for teens, young mothers, single mothers, widows and vulnerable families in Katanga Slum and grassroots communities beyond! 👩🏽‍🍼✨ MAMA-RISE is a transformative mentorship, skilling and economic empowerment initiative designed by Strategem Group under the Youth Empowered Leaders Entrepreneurship Program (YELEP) Under Shine Leadership International, with Ghetto Pamoja Initiative as a key community stakeholder. 🤝🏽 We are turning potential into practical skills, skills into income, and income into sustainable livelihoods. 💪🏽💰 Through hands-on training and mentorship, participants will explore: 🧼 Liquid Soap Making — turning practical production into small businesses. 🧵 Tailoring & Garment Making — building skills for self-employment and creative enterprise. 🩷 Reusable Sanitary Towel Making — promoting dignity, menstrual health and affordable products while creating income opportunities. 📱 Digital Literacy — using technology for learning, marketing, communication and accessing opportunities. 🌍 Climate Literacy & Waste-to-Wealth — transforming environmental challenges into sustainable opportunities. 💰 Financial Literacy — learning to budget, save, manage and grow income. 📈 Entrepreneurship & Economic Empowerment — identifying markets, pricing products, branding, selling and building viable enterprises. 🤝🏽 Mentorship & Personal Development — growing confidence, resilience, leadership and a mindset that refuses to let circumstances define the future. But MAMA-RISE doesn't stop at training.
