for everyone losing their minds in the comments, this is lacking the context. You’d need to watch the movie to understand why it was unviable for her to keep this child as he was born as a result of abse and she was under investigation. This movie is so worth it and got Cannes nominations but unfortunately it is very hard to find 😭

i think it has similar story I read in manhwa. She abandoned her daughter due to poverty but planning to get her afterwards,but the event turns chaotic when she learned her daughter was adopted by wealthy couple so she decided to apply as a maid to get her daughter back. I just dropped halfway because things became disgusting.😭😭
