IT (2017) • R • 2h 15m • Supernatural Horror / Coming‑of‑Age / Monster Thriller Directed by Andy Muschietti FULL SUMMARY In the small town of Derry, Maine, children begin disappearing under mysterious and violent circumstances. A group of misfit kids known as The Losers’ Club—Bill, Beverly, Richie, Eddie, Ben, Mike, and Stanley—band together during the summer of 1989 to confront the evil haunting their town. Bill is driven by the loss of his younger brother Georgie, whose tragic encounter with a sewer‑dwelling entity sets the tone for the terror that follows. They soon discover that the creature, calling itself Pennywise the Dancing Clown, is a shape‑shifting being that feeds on fear and awakens every 27 years. As each child faces personal trauma—abusive parents, bullying, grief, loneliness—the monster exploits their deepest vulnerabilities. The group’s bond strengthens as they uncover Pennywise’s lair beneath Derry, realizing that unity is their greatest weapon. In a brutal confrontation, they fight back against the creature’s illusions and physical manifestations. Their victory is temporary, however, as they vow to return if “It” ever resurfaces. FULL CAST (Primary) Bill Skarsgård — Pennywise Jaeden Martell — Bill Denbrough Sophia Lillis — Beverly Marsh Finn Wolfhard — Richie Tozier Jeremy Ray Taylor — Ben Hanscom Jack Dylan Grazer — Eddie Kaspbrak Chosen Jacobs — Mike Hanlon Wyatt Oleff — Stanley Uris Nicholas Hamilton — Henry Bowers Jackson Robert Scott — Georgie Denbrough MOVIE RELEASE Premiered: September 5, 2017 (TCL Chinese Theatre) U.S. Release: September 8, 2017

You can check the Streaming section on IMDb’s “IT (2017)” page to view current platforms. 7 MOVIE SUGGESTIONS (Similar Vibes) - The Conjuring — Paranormal dread with strong character focus - Insidious — Supernatural entity targeting a family - Sinister — Found footage horror with escalating terror - It Chapter Two — Continuation of Pennywise’s cycle - The Babadook — Fear manifested as a creature - Stranger Things — Kids vs supernatural threat, 80s tone - Pet Sematary — Another Stephen King tale of grief and horror 5 FACTS - Record-breaking horror — Became the highest‑grossing horror film unadjusted for inflation. "Wikipedia") - Stephen King adaptation — Widely praised as one of the strongest modern King adaptations. "Wikipedia") - Filmed in Canada — Shot across the Greater Toronto Area. "Wikipedia") - 1980s inspiration — Muschietti drew from films like The Goonies and Stand by Me. "Wikipedia") - 27-year cycle — Pennywise’s awakening pattern mirrors the novel’s lore. (Inference based on plot details) TAROT CARD Card Pulled: The Moon (Major Arcana) I chose The Moon because it represents fear, illusion, and the subconscious—exactly what Pennywise manipulates. The Losers’ Club must confront not only the creature but the shadows within themselves, making this card a perfect symbolic match. #IT2017 #BillSkarsgard #SophiaLillis #FinnWolfhard #LosersClub
