@joannagriffin463: For years, I was so busy looking after everyone else that I didn’t really stop to think about what I wanted for me. But the truth is, our future doesn’t just happen to us. The choices we make today can shape what our lives look like tomorrow. And that doesn’t mean we have to have everything figured out. It might mean learning something new. It might mean making a change. It might mean finding a way to create more freedom. Or simply deciding that we’re not going to keep putting ourselves last. At 57, I’m still figuring things out. But I know I don’t want to spend the next chapter of my life just waiting for retirement. I want more travel, more time with the people I love, and the freedom to enjoy the life I’ve worked so hard for.
