I worked two jobs, did college, ran a youtube channel, and surprisingly managed to do it. But one class, math class, the professor had scheduled test days. The final test I couldn't attend on the day she had scheduled, due to my second job. She noticed I was exhausted, doing alot, and I told her I couldn't make the test. I told her I worked two jobs. She said, "well... can you only work one job so you can properly handle this class?" I dropped out not long after. Hated school, and college was just as ridiculous.

I work in the food service industry, have about 10 years if experience. People who act like that always asking to go home early or the easier stations, are the most frustrating people no matter how nice and friendly they are. When you leave early you put more work on people who are also as overworked as you, who have to stay later when they also have stuff to do outside of work. Manage your time and hours, before you screw with everyone else's hours and time.

I will never understand the cocky attitude of teachers and their precious tests. the world doesn't revolve around tests, things come up and those things can delay a person from being on time to take a test. it doesn't matter how early someone shows up, an emergency can happen at any time and a silent room filled with questions on paper will not change that fact ever.

I got into a terrible car wreck on my way to a midterm once, had to take physical therapy for a bit. Professor didn’t let me retake it and it was like 30 percent of the grade 💀 College professors are ruthless and cruel and don’t actually care what you’re going through .

His time management is a moot point. Not allowing student to take a test (ofc they would have reduced time) is objectively stupid. They gain no advantage over other students despite doing the wrong thing (being late). So denying them is just arbitrary bs
