Good catch — nitrofurantoin IS first-line for UTI in pregnancy per ACOG. The ❌ was only for near-term use (38–42 wks)/labor, due to risk of neonatal hemolytic anemia. Safe earlier in pregnancy, just avoided right before delivery.
