My husbands step grandma asked if she could get a photo with her children and grand children at our wedding because they are never all together. She asked weeks or months before I can’t remember but she also said if we weren’t okay with it she understood. She got her picture and I actually love that we were able to do that for her.

At my wedding my aunt insisted on taking one big family photo of only my side and leave my husbands side and friends inside while we went outside to take the photo. My mom was so mad and went up to apologize cause her and I both had attitude about it and then my said to her “would u do this at one of ur kids weddings” cause my cousins are my age and she said “not im so sorry no I wouldn’t”

I had more photos of my uncles ‘step children’ than myself in my wedding 🤣 (he’d been with their mother 2 yrs at that point and they were in their late 30s!!) as we were cutting the cake one yelled over ‘hey mr can u take a family photo’ 😬 I haven’t seen them since and we’ve been married 15 years!
