Speaking before politicians, activists and Nobel Peace Prize laureates from around the world, she said Nepal has contributed little to the climate crisis but is among those suffering its worst consequences. She stressed that the stories of people affected by climate change must be heard by the international community. “We do not need charity; we need climate justice, compensation and a sense of shared responsibility,” Bam said. Beautifully said, I hope people realize that what's happening is not caused by religion or idol worship but it is caused by global warming, people of Nepal suffered cause the rest of the world choose to kill the planet.
