We plead with our government, law-enforcement agencies and all relevant officials: please PRIORITISE the safety of your citizens, and especially the safety of women. 🙏🏾 But this conversation must also begin in our homes. And to us as men: we cannot only speak when another woman has died. We need to challenge one another. We need to call out abusive behaviour, disturbing jokes and violence when we see it.
