isnt it counterproductive to wear down a group of people in the hope that they will come to a sound conclusion? I dont get making them try to convince this person over and over and over again... just use one of the 6 alternates before the rest of them run out of steam for debating their perspectives.

The judge had a similar case before him! He didn’t allow the woman’s medical records into evidence. She just won an appeal and will have a new trial with a new judge! He’s corrupt!!!

I'm REALLY surprised that they let it be revealed that the juror holdout is a man & the foreperson is a woman. Bow slipped up & said "he," then corrected herself to "he or she." Reddington did not correct himself on either & I was shocked that everyone let that slide. we all suspected this but 🤷♀️

Guys I know this looks like the judge is “biased” but remember the judge is in a very delicate position here. If he gives a harsh instruction the jury might feel intimidated to sway to a certain decision. If he removes a juror he unwillingly loses his neutrality and sides with the majority, especially since the note indicates the exact division of the jurors. He heard both arguments, he instructed them on the law twice, and he allowed Reddington to do this on the record. He is going as far as he can without overstepping his neutral role as judge.

Another update: the note said that the juror has doubt but refuses to apply it. And the prosecutors want them to just continue deliberations

Theres going to be a lot of backtracking if people find out the one "hold out" was actually "not guilty" 😂 Everyone is assuming the 11 are saying not guilty when no one but the jury knows that. All the people saying replace the juror would be hilariously mad

the judge is just being stubborn about it and its pissing me off. the jurors LITERALLY said that one isnt following the instructions and the judge said "i cant do anything bc theyre following the instructions" LIKE ARE YOU FR

As frustrating as these circumstances are, I don’t think they have grounds to remove this one juror. The only remedy is to declare a mistrial and retry the case with a new jury.

haven’t tuned in today, but i’m thinking it might be the woman who has been stated as being religious, which would explain why reddington wanted it done in open court… so that we can all see that the prosecution’s inclusion of religion/mortal sins very well could have biased the jury.

What about going for the Majority vote? How can one persons vote be more important? It’s soooooo easy to pay off one person enough money to make sure that the jurors won’t get the verdict that is fair.
