🌻Red, green, and blue are the primary colours of light. Your eye retina has 3 types of cone (colour-detecting) cells: red, green, and blue. Colour film cameras have three types of emulsion: one for red, one for green, and one for blue. Digital screens only display three colours: red, green, and blue. All these colours combine in different ways to appear as all the colours. Different amounts of red, green, and blue light appear as different colours. Red, green, and blue all together appear white. Red and green appear yellow, green and blue appear cyan, and blue and red appear magenta. WARNING: This only applies to light, not paint.
