I'm a 34-year police officer and I work in this area and it really bothers the hell out of me when these officers ask David and other auditors. it doesn't matter who they are. did you drive here? are you part legally? how did you get here? it's none of your damn business. how I got here you see I'm videotaping you see I'm taking pictures or whatever I'm doing. there's nothing going on here. go the hell away. you don't have any authority over me. that's what I would say. and I'm a police officer. police officers don't have any authority over you and you're not breaking the law. these guys are not breaking the law. yeah they can come out and talk to you but they don't need to be asking you how you got there. what kind of car you're driving so they can go and try to hem you up on something that's not your job as a police officer to go round about the law. create a situation where there is no situation. turn around. go away. that's the biggest problem or one of the big problems with policing. cops are our own worst enemies. we don't know how to disengage. the ego does not let a police officer disengage whether it's male or female. for some reason there's a disconnect there and they're willing to go to far reaching lengths to prove a point and again, that is not what policing is supposed to be about. it's supposed to be about law enforcement and getting compliance with the law from members of the public so that everybody lives together in harmony. I know that will never be achieved in this lifetime, but that's the point of the law not to go and try to make criminals out of law abiding people. there's a thing called the police officer's code of ethics. I have a copy of it on my phone and they apparently are not teaching that in the academy anymore because all these cops on these videos don't seem to know anything about ethics or morals or honor or duty or what their job is actually supposed to be. it's not supposed to be writing tickets and taking people to jail. that's not your job. it's part of it, but that is not what it's all about. you're supposed to be making people the community feel like you're a contributing member to safety in the community

Why can't people understand their taking pictures of a state department and they have personal vehicles and possibility undercover officers that don't want to filmed? This shit has got to stop. They don't allow it prisons either, so people can't try to break people out of jails!
