I've gone to concerts and close my eyes during strobing lights. there's not always a warning that they're going to do that. But if you're on the right medications you should be at low risk

I’m epileptic and I visit rave/techno. From my experience the pills really make you feel like shit (especially if you also take like ADHD medication). It’s not easy and sometimes you have to let go. Even if it’s wrong you can’t let it control your whole life. You already have so many things you can’t do so as long as you are careful you can live with it.

Don’t let epilepsy take over your life it’s heartbreaking being told you can’t do something because of your condition it’s exhausting when you’re out full of constant worry. But when you’re out it’s the time to let go and have fun. Ppl know their limits and if they don’t feel comfortable going out bcos they have epilepsy that is up to them i know it’s a movie but it’s also a real condition and we go through this everyday, ppl should be able to do whatever they feel comfortable doing. I agree she should’ve told the ppl around her so they’re aware if something serious was to happen.
