When I could take time off. How much of my day belonged to someone else. I didn’t necessarily want to retire so I could never work again. I wanted more control over how, when and where I worked. So I started learning how to build something online. Something I could work on from my laptop. Something I could build around my life instead of building my life around my job. And yes — it’s still work. The difference? There’s work that owns your time… and there’s work where YOU own your time.
