Can’t find it but I saw a fan comic where sokka is drunk on the palace balcony telling the sun he can’t have this one since the moon already took his love then Zuko calls him inside

Someone else pointed out that it makes even more sense because the Moon is what gives power to the waterbenders. The sun gives it to the firebenders. Yue was a princess who sacrificed herself for peace in the spirit realm and for waterbending, and Sokka knows Zuko is dumb and valiant enough to do the same. He’s seen this movie before and he doesn’t like how it ends.

I'm a Zukka shipper too, but something in canon I really like is that his first love was the moon and his second (canon) love was a woman named Suki, WHICH MEANS MOON!

I've read multiple zukka fics where Sokka specifically makes Zuko promise not to turn into the sun and it's always funny and kinda sad lol
