No, if you add different portions of grey you get saturation, if you add different portions of white or black you get value, if you add different portions of other colors you get tone.

Now explain how to get to this with real paints bc digital drawings are easier to mix or find these tints etc. in real life color mixing you have to experiment to get certain shades without muddying the og hue.
