‼️ URGENT: RYE MUST LEAVE BY 10/6 AT 6 PM ‼️ 🚨 Please arrive at least 1 hour before closing to meet him! 🐾 Meet Rye (A573602) 🤎🤍 🗓️ 11 months old | ♂️ Male | ⚖️ 39 lbs Honestly, this may be one of the sweetest shelter photos ever. 🥹 Just look at Rye melting into that lap like he already knows exactly where he belongs. This sweet, snuggly puppy is all about people, affection, and cuddles — and he’s already showing what an incredibly loving companion he could become. Rye LOVES people. He leans right in for affection, melts into a good petting session, and is more than happy to trade kisses with anyone willing to give him some love. ❤️ Attention and gentle pets seem to be his love language, and in that photo you can practically see him soaking up every second of feeling safe and close to someone. Food didn’t hold much interest for Rye during his assessment — apparently he had more important things to do, like cuddle. 😂 He also wasn’t feeling his best at the time, which may have played a part. What he clearly wanted most was affection from his people. Rye has also done very well meeting other dogs. He met Rowan and was friendly, playful, and generous with the puppy smooches. 🥰🐾 He also did great meeting Jordan, a female dog. Since arriving at the shelter, Rye has already started gaining confidence, and he’s making a little more progress every day. At only 11 months old, he’s still just a puppy figuring out the world. He needs someone who will keep building that trust with him through kindness, cuddles, and positive experiences. Please don’t let this sweet, snuggly boy spend these formative months growing up in a shelter.
