Is this related to why rape victims are subjected to interrogation closely resembling military tactics when testifying? Why it is allowed - Because they had the nerve to survive and speak up? It's not unheard of for them to go on for days/weeks and having her relive a traumatic experience while subjected to rapid fire, unrelenting questions. No other crime victim goes through this.

In the uk we have a defence to murder called ‘loss of self control’ which was brought in for cases like this, there must be a ‘qualifying trigger’ which can be fear of serious violence

The law is written by men for men. We will suffer until a man has decided we have suffered enough- maybe until death. Then if the man is held accountable it will be up to men how much he will pay, and men gamble on that light punishment. Thats the game. If we come outside of that and end the game, they’re enraged.

I got two black eyes when I was pregnant but was denied a temp restraining order by the city hall clerk. I mentioned that I bit his inner wrist while his hands were around my throat and she said that makes it a mutual fight despite me being 5inches 50lbs and being 20 weeks pregnant
