@tracypekurny: Feel-Good Friday 🤍 To the nurse who is doing so many things right now… You are probably so much more exhausted than you even realize. You’re taking care of patients. You’re carrying things home from work that nobody knows you’re carrying. You’re trying to be present for your family. Maybe you’re raising kids, helping aging parents, supporting a spouse, building a business, figuring out finances, answering the texts, remembering the appointments and somehow keeping track of the 47 things living rent-free in your head. And when you’re carrying that much, it’s really easy to become shortsighted. We start looking at life through a microscope because all we can see is today’s schedule, today’s problem, today’s exhaustion and what still isn’t done. I’ve had countless conversations lately with nurses in my DMs, private consultations and communities who are simply maxed out. Brilliant, experienced, capable nurses who know they want something different but aren’t quite sure what that looks like yet. So on this Friday, I just want to remind you: There is more available to you than what you can see from inside a hard season. Your nursing career does not have to look one particular way for the rest of your life. There are other paths. Entrepreneurship is one of them. Building something of your own is one of them. Using everything nursing has taught you in a completely different way is one of them. And yes, I can teach you that part. But today, I mostly want to remind you to zoom out. Look at everything you’ve already navigated. Everything you’ve learned. The people you’ve cared for. The hard seasons you’ve made it through. The experience you’ve accumulated that you probably don’t even recognize as extraordinary anymore because it’s simply become part of who you are. You are not required to figure out the rest of your life this Friday. But don’t let an exhausting chapter convince you there aren’t more pages. There are. And you have options. Happy Friday, nurses. You’re carrying a lot. And you’re doing a pretty amazing job of it. #conciergenurse #nursecoach #nurseconsultant #conciergenursing
