I was be that friend . Now that I'm older realized that they just was taking advantage of my good heart & generosity . Basically I was their taxi I drove far distances I never asked for gas . After you stop doing favors people stop talking to you . And that's what they did . Now I'm loving my solo life & peace .

The people in the comments acting like asking for gas money is too much and not an act of kindness then, when it’s just an even trade of kindness, you do something for me I do something for you that’s just how things work you really expect a free ride everyday without paying for some kind of the fee or paying for some of the other stuff we do to make up for it? That’s called taking advantage of people, we aren’t made of money and gas and it doesn’t last forever respect that and respect the kindness given to you
