I know this isn’t like a truly serious philosophical video but just for conversation I totally disagree with your point. There’s a giant misunderstanding when you quote Baki which is discussing a tool then talking about video games which are artistic pieces meant to be enjoyed and experienced. If you remove everything extra from a tool it MIGHT be considered perfect for its task, if you remove everything extra from a video game then it is soulless and barren.

i’ll take it a step further (as a mania player ofc) and say that osu!mania is even simpler. there is no mouse movement (aim) required. you are genuinely just tapping to the beat of the music. you essentially become an error prone metronome. no sliders, no jumps, no spinner wheels. just tap or hold until the song is over.

a while back, my internet shut off for 3 months i had around 800 maps downloaded on osu some of them were my fav songs, so whenever i wanted to listen to music i would play or screenrecord those and listen to them (most of them sucked ngl)
