@thehonestmomfit: Sometimes owning a business really fucking sucks. Not because of the work, but because sometimes staying professional means staying quiet when every part of you wants to scream your truth. And trust me, I see it. I see the posts. I see the comments. I see the assumptions. I see people take one tiny piece of information and create an entire story around it that couldn’t be further from the truth. It can be an email. A coach moving on to a new opportunity. A brand deal. A rescheduled coaching call. A business decision someone doesn’t understand. And sometimes I want so badly to say, “You have no idea what actually happened.” But leadership has taught me that just because I can defend myself doesn’t always mean I should. Because this isn’t just about me. It’s about a community that trusts me, a team that looks to me to lead, and a business that is bigger than any rumor or assumption. And most importantly, it’s about a little girl who is watching her mom very closely. So I’ll choose professionalism when being petty would feel a hell of a lot better. I’ll choose protecting what we’ve built over proving a point. Not because I don’t see it. Not because I don’t have a side of the story.
