Some background information: This psu had been used in an industrial environment for 8 months before it was reported to be malfunctioning and sent to the store for warranty service. As a result, the inside of it was heavily contaminated with metal dust and exposed to electrical harmonics from the industrial environment. The employee was also new and did not know how to perform the necessary safety checks, so he connected the cable without properly inspecting the psu, which ultimately caused it to burn out.

only buy 80+ bronze certified or above, preferably 80+ gold if u can afford it... and ALWAYS buy at least 200W extra than you need in case of sudden power spikes... also always run ur pc through a surge protector

If it says errors expected dont buy it. Yes I have seen PSU in PC thats label said this. Yes it had exploded and then PC brought to me as it doesnt start.

Once blew the power by not already having the power cord in the psu before plugging it into a socket and having the switch on was lucky it had a safety mechanism as no components were destroyed in a pc I was reparing
