@loungeguru: London to Riyadh on Riyadh Air Business Class on Boeing 787-9 | My second flight on Saudi Arabia’s new airline! After experiencing Riyadh Air’s maiden flight, I was excited to step onboard again, this time flying from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh. And this second experience was every bit as exciting as the first. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Business Class cabin features a 1 2 1 configuration, giving every passenger their own private suite and direct aisle access. The first thing that struck me again was the cabin design, modern, bright and beautifully finished, with signature lavender ambient lighting creating a completely different atmosphere onboard. Before settling in, I was lucky enough to meet the 4 pilots in the cockpit, an incredibly friendly crew from Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Oman and Spain. Back at my suite, the experience began with Riyadh Air’s signature lavender mint mocktail, followed by royal dates and Saudi coffee. Waiting at the seat was a Kayanee amenity kit, featuring a curated collection of skincare and travel essentials from the Saudi wellness brand. After takeoff, the crew walked me through the multi course dining menu before starting the service with an aperitivo. Everything felt polished and thoughtfully presented, and the crew were completely on top of their game.
