@akronzoo: Our spotted turtle baby population recently tripled to six babies! When these little turtles are a little older (and less likely to flip over!) they will be reintroduced to their native habitat. The Akron Zoo partners with the Save and Protect Ohio Turtle Diversity (SPOTD) committee, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) and our friends at the @clemetzoo to help rebuild the native population of spotted turtles. #conservation #turtles
