opposite issue. didn't really baby proof anything other than the kitchen sink and outlets... then had baby #2 22 months later... then had baby #3 17 months later. it took me 7 months to do the most simple baby proofing because they would get into everything AS I was doing it. 😭 now my youngest is 19m and as strong as the hulk so none of it matters.

I bought the baby proofing magnets and they are still in the cabinet yet I get so frustrated her going through everything. I've accepted defeat and just stand and watch her, I'm terrible. I made 2 cabinets full of junk and let her be a menace with those. I'll get around to installing the baby proofing but not today.. and probably not tomorrow. 🤪🤣

I have the pull-out-an-inch-and-press-the-tab but on my drawers full of heavy things it’s like a Tesla door handle because you pull it open and it tries to bounce closed again and take your fingers off.
