The yellow bump isn’t pus or gunk! It’s probably just lymph from the healing wound. You can see it do the same thing if you put a drop of water on a pimple patch and watch it over a couple hours.

You should use blister bandaids, theyre made from the same material as pimple patches are super cheap and they’re big so you can cut them or use the whole thing :)

I'm sad to see that we share the same problem but I am so happy to see someone who I can relate to, I too have dermatillomania and OCD and I've been told by a therapist that my dermatillomania grossed her out, thank you for sharing ❤️
