I live in illinois. I am a retired teacher. But then I went back to work as a receptionist. i want to retire but what do people do during the winter if you live in the midwest. yeah, you can travel, but that costs money. my grown sun works and I have no grandchildren. i'm afraid to be bored sitting home through the winter.

These have been my exact thoughts. Time goes so fast. This year is almost gone. 5 days sitting doing the same thing. I’m 59. I dont hate my job. But it makes you think.

I struggled with it as well. But I just retired at 68. I ended up getting breast cancer and I need a knee replacement. I am so glad I did retire. There’s so much more out there that has nothing to do with money the things that if you in peace, I am loving it and I don’t know how many years I’m going to have left, but I’m gonna enjoy what I got.

I will be 62 next year and have 30 years at my current job always been my plan to go out at 62. My husband had a pretty scary health scare this year and after seeing some of the medical bills that we still have to pay even with our insurance i’m really starting to second-guess. We have been healthy our whole life and I thought we’d be able to play a little roulette with health insurance until we are 65. But I’m starting to second-guess. I don’t wanna have to dip in into savings to pay for medical. If something should happen Medicare should be available at 62.

Got my social security at full age of 66 but still working full time at 69. Trying to figure how to adjust being able to retire but due to a family crisis it toke my retirement!! It is hard with everything costing do much
