I think she is talking about kids being told to contribute to bills and give essentially 'rent' to live in ur family home. if you are willingly giving it to them theres no issue!! also if you gotta rent in your own childhood home then you may aswell move out you shouldn't have a financial relationship with your parents our kids dont owe us anything they are a gift from allah swt

Wih respect, this is disgusting. I actually agree to some extent with a lot of what you say but on this occasion, no way. Learn the importance of parents of islam. If they can't rely on you they will have nobody. It is the duty of a child to protect and provide for their parents when they reach old age, just as they did when you were a baby.
