@thebigcatsanctuary: Welcome Siberia! 🐯 We are pleased to share that Siberia the Amur tiger has safely arrived to her new home here at the Sanctuary. Born at The Big Cat Sanctuary in 2012, Siberia moved to our sister site, @hertfordshirezoo, with her sister Aleena when they were just over a year old to join Rocky with the intention of companionship in his later years. Siberia is currently settling into her new space, monitored by keepers checking in on her. It will take some time for Siberia to adjust but we can’t wait to embark on a new journey with Siberia and her provide her a home.
