@hiddenlinesarchitect: Why would an architect who enjoys designing houses choose to specialize in commercial interiors? Architect Ayaz Rasheed explains the difference between residential architecture and commercial interior design—and why the shorter timelines of commercial projects suit his creative process. Residential projects can take a year and a half or longer to complete. During that time, architects have to coordinate with clients, families, contractors, consultants, and many other people, each bringing their own ideas and decisions to the project. Sometimes, the original design vision slowly gets diluted during execution. Commercial interiors work differently. The idea is developed, the design is executed, and within a much shorter period, the architect can see the creative vision become a finished space. For Ayaz, that connection between idea and execution is what makes commercial interior design so rewarding. In this video, he shares: ✔ Why residential projects can take so long ✔ How multiple opinions affect architectural design ✔ Why creativity can get lost during execution ✔ The difference between residential and commercial projects ✔ Why he specialized in commercial interiors ✔ Why faster execution keeps creativity alive Architecture has many specializations. The best path isn't necessarily the one you can do—it's the one that allows you to do your best work.

Jab hum kisi house ko design karna start karte hain, to Day 1 ki planning aur drawings se le kar last day ki completion tak, poora ghar hamare mind mein visualize ho raha hota hai. We can already see how every space will look, how the materials will work together, where the lighting will fall, and eventually how the final home will feel. Lekin client sirf wohi dekh sakta hai jo uske samne hota hai. Har client ke paas visualization ki woh ability nahi hoti ke woh drawings, plans ya under-construction space ko dekh kar imagine kar sake ke final result kaisa niklega. Not mei architect nhe hu mager as a designer feel kar sagta hu ap ki problems 😊
