Here's why it matters: PFAS are used across manufacturing because they're slick and water-repellent — the same chemistry that makes rain jackets bead water and pans nonstick. They're called "forever chemicals" for a reason: they don't break down in nature, and they don't break down in your body. The problem is a condom sits against some of the most absorbent tissue you have. The lawsuit's argument is that shoppers were never told, and wouldn't have bought them "on the same terms" if they had been. The fix is not to stop using protection — it's to use it.
