She has flaws, obviously, because she’s a human being, not some perfectly polished little fictional doll who exists solely to be agreeable. Like… why wouldn’t you love Lizzie? And I genuinely need people to explain the logic because I’m struggling to see it. She’s been through hell and somehow still manages to show up for the people she loves. She’s fiercely loyal, deeply caring, ridiculously intelligent, and has more depth than half the characters people apparently have no problem worshipping. She can be messy. She can be difficult. She can make questionable decisions. Congratulations, you’ve discovered a well-written character. she is NOT a mean girl or a bully. And the beauty is honestly the least interesting thing about her, which says a LOT because she’s gorgeous. Her resilience, her heart, her loyalty, her ability to understand people, and the way she loves so deeply despite everything are what make her so compelling. So yes, I will continue to defend Lizzie with my entire chest.
