Maybe it’s just me but I start to forget which side I wrap the yarn when someone starts talking about it when I do it all automatically

This is my biggest issue as well: people say go counter clock wise but then show what looks to be clockwise movements: I’m like does the yarn go over or under the needle, etc. now for purling does it go over the top or under the bottom of the needle?
