I found my dads sister. Unfortunately she had passed away and we didn’t keep much of a connection with her daughter but just knowing that she lived a happy life and getting to see pictures of her was so good for my dad

My mum has a sister that I found for her much much later in life, she had a son called Ian, my mum had a son called Ian. Her sisters name was changed from Denise to Ann, my middle name is Ann. Ann looks exactly like my grandmother, it was uncanny. The characteristics too were just like my grandmother which is wild considering they never met, my grandmother kept her a secret so I had to wait until she passed before I could search for Ann.

I’m adopted my birth mum doesn’t want contact but I understand my being given up was traumatic for her and she doesn’t want to relive it but I’m in contact with her daughter and have almost daily contact with my birth father I got the best parents still would like to see my mum though

I found my birth mum and found out I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. My mum spoke about me so they all knew about me but waited for me to find them. Weirdly, out of all the siblings me and my birth mum look the most alike and are the most alike. So strange
