We have a rental that brings in great money. And very low (to none) maintenance costs. Our renters have been nothing but loyal and prompt for six years. My asshole ex-husband continues to raise their rent every year. And I have fought against it every year. Do you think they’re getting that big of a raise every year? I’m still mad for them

I once rented a townhome, as a single mom with an 18 mos old son. I told this sweet little old lady landlord that I wanted to be a long term tenant and it was in a good school district, even redid the kitchen floor because I thought I’d live there for years. That “sweet” little old lady had already stopped paying on the mortgages when she had me sign that lease. Was served foreclosure notices a few months later. Bad people stay bad people as they age

When people get praised for being “good at business” when really they’re just good at having zero empathy 😞 I’m forever grateful for my female landlord who without question lowered our rent during all of 2020 I probably would have rented from her forever if I didn’t move in with my husband who already had a condo

I’m so glad that when I got divorced, my first/new landlord was a woman. She was so kind and when she heard I was moving out of the house my ex and I shared (and he was staying), she immediately approved my application.

My husband is very “business minded” he has started multiple businesses and consults for start ups. He’s doing an inspection for a non profit and was telling me how he’s not letting them pay him because their just trying to do something nice for the community and they shouldn’t have to pay for an inspection. If I heard those two assholes I would also be irate
