Technicolor is nice, but when used it only really works for white skin tones. Anytime a black person or poc in general was recorded it would come out muddy, dull or even invisible. Making the entire movie based on this specific white persons skin. Overall it wouldn’t make sense to have technicolor in today’s world. With the harsh lighting+ longer studio days, people wouldn’t be paid enough . There would also be a lot of backlash just so to the first fact which is very very understandable. Even I think it would be useless to have technicolor in today’s age

technicolor cannot be achieved again before anyone asks. the chemicals that were used do not exist anymore and would not be worth creating. but we can emulate !

I love technicolor soo much, thats one of the reasons I got into watching 60s movies because they just look so gorgeous. New movies are grey and bland or have a weird fake HDR look trying to be colorful that affects even good filmmakers

I refuse to watch movies without color, I even wear bright colors bc I get understimulated with the amount of color in the world
