When Iran was under sanctions, China offered substantial assistance. Yet once sanctions were eased, Iran promptly turned its back on China, tearing up signed agreements to cooperate with Europe instead. It also handed over development rights to a key port to India. China has consistently helped Iran, only to receive resentment from Iran in return. Why do Iranians not blame Europe or India, but direct their grievances toward China? Why should the Chinese people make sacrifices to help Iran?

It's generally difficult to ask foreign citizens to join your war and die for you. Put yourself in the other shoe, would Iranians sign up to defend Cuba from invasion??? ... it's difficult, right? Iranians would not do this, same as China.

Iran is winning the war and have weaken USA. China did not military aid Russia as well as Iran. But China economies trade with both as this is critical life line despite attack by USA. The life line is critical to survival for both.
