@drdomeofficial: Not every dental treatment belongs in your long-term health plan. Some are worth keeping. Some deserve a second thought. And some should be left in the past. Wisdom teeth? It depends on the individual case. Root canals? For long-term health, I prefer to remove the chronic stressor and replace the tooth with a ceramic implant when appropriate. Fluoride toothpaste? I choose hydroxyapatite instead. Titanium implants? Ceramic zirconia is my preferred biomaterial. Metal fillings? I believe mercury amalgams should be safely removed using the right protocols. Chemical mouthwash? Hard no. I'd rather support the oral microbiome with strategies like coconut oil pulling. Flossing? Keep it. Just be gentle and choose a clean option. Coconut oil pulling? Keep. The goal isn't to follow dental trends. It's to understand what you're putting in your mouth and make decisions that support your biology and long-term health. Cheers, Dr. Dome
