@farmhouseish: When we moved into our house 6 years ago, our patio was a disaster. A total swampland. Always covered in dirt because it wouldn’t drain. We did some bandaid updates to hold us over, then three years ago I got to work on a total transformation. I replaced the old doors, turned the exterior closet into a garden shed complete with a Dutch door, and added beautiful porcelain pavers I was able to slope properly to fix the drainage issue, then continued them under the deck as well to double the size of the patio. I turned the retaining wall into a bar, built bed swings, an outdoor kitchen, and a concrete dining table, added brick finishes to the bar and kitchen, built cute shutters, wrapped the columns, and added a plank ceiling to really finish things out. But none of that hard work would mean a thing if I wasn’t also maintaining it! So I grabbed my @BDCBrands DOMINATOR Polymeric Sand in natural/ivory to refill the joints between the pavers! It’s so easy to use — push the sand into the gaps, blow off the extra, then spray to set and now it looks brand new! And I cannot believe that 3 years of hard work have turned into THIS!
