@gospellyrics4life: “Heavenly Race” is a joyful reassurance to the Christian community that the best of life can be found and fully enjoyed in Christ. Following Jesus does not mean giving up happiness, freedom or the beautiful experiences life has to offer. One does not have to belong to the world to live a rich and fulfilling life, because all good things were created by God for our comfort and enjoyment. With the declaration, “Heavenly race,” Nusi B expresses the confidence of a believer who has discovered that life in Christ is not dull, restrictive or burdensome. It is safe, freeing and filled with genuine joy. The song challenges the belief that Christianity takes the fun out of living and instead presents faith as the foundation for experiencing life at its best. The inspiration behind “Heavenly Race” comes from Nusi B’s own lifestyle, mindset and beliefs. Having personally experienced the joy and freedom that come from knowing Christ, he created the song to reflect how he chooses to live: wholeheartedly for God, without feeling that he is missing out on anything the world has to offer. Warm, relatable and unmistakably Nigerian, “Heavenly Race” is a song to dance to, find encouragement in and confidently live by. It reminds every believer that choosing Christ does not mean choosing less, it means discovering a better and more meaningful way to live. #gospelmusicvideo #christianmusic
