Its an interference engine. if it jumped time at highway speed... it would have locked up, valves would have bent... its a noisy affair.

I had a guy bring his q50 3.0 in and said a mechanic told him it broke the timing chain, as the tow truck driver literally starts the car and drives it off the truck…. It did need an engine bc it did have cam codes and oil pressure codes but it was due to being 30k over on his 10k oil change. It was completely slugged with 130k on to I was ow man….. those engines are not cheap at all unfortunately

you want to help out someone who's out of town i have a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali put new engine new transmission and just keep dropping money cuz one thing goes after the other or thats what im told ive put everything ive had into it and o keep having problems...

Sounds like it was overheated until it quit running. If so, replacing the engine is the only option. Judging by the condition of the rest of the vehicle, scrap it.
