برج الساعة في مكة المكرمة يُعد واحداً من أبرز المعالم الحديثة في العالم الإسلامي، ويقع ضمن مجمع أبراج البيت (برج الساعة) بالقرب من المسجد الحرام. تم بناء البرج ليكون فندقاً ومركزاً سكنياً وتجارياً يخدم زوار مكة من الحجاج والمعتمرين. يتميز البرج بساعة ضخمة تُعد من أكبر الساعات في العالم، ويمكن رؤيتها من مسافات بعيدة جداً. يعلو البرج هلال ذهبي كبير يرمز إلى الطابع الإسلامي ويضيف له هيبة خاصة في سماء مكة. يبلغ ارتفاع البرج أكثر من 600 متر تقريباً، مما يجعله من أطول الأبراج في العالم. يتكون المجمع من عدة أبراج تحيط بالبرج الرئيسي الذي يحتوي على الساعة. يوفر البرج إطلالة مباشرة على المسجد الحرام، مما يجعله موقعاً مميزاً جداً للسكن. تم تصميمه ليجمع بين الحداثة والهوية الإسلامية في نفس الوقت. تُضاء الساعة في الليل بألوان قوية تجعلها مرئية من معظم أحياء مكة. يضم البرج مرافق فاخرة مثل الفنادق والمطاعم والمراكز التجارية. يُعد جزءاً من مشروع تطوير منطقة الحرم لتسهيل خدمة الزوار. أصبح البرج رمزاً حديثاً لمكة المكرمة ويعكس تطور المدينة. يستقطب ملايين الزوار سنوياً بسبب موقعه وقيمته الدينية والسياحية. كما يُستخدم كمعلم مهم لتحديد الوقت والمكان داخل المدينة. وفي النهاية، يمثل برج الساعة مزيجاً بين العمارة الحديثة والقدسية الدينية في قلب مكة #تكفى_يا_معالي_المستشار #الاتحاد

I particularly enjoyed the steamed ones; scallop siu mai is hard to find. The dumplings were plump too. The char siu buns were soft and sweet. We managed to eat 2 rounds of steamed, 1 round of pastries, 1 round veggie buns, and 6 char siu buns accidentally 😂. It was filling for sure! We enjoyed the mains, particularly the curry which had tender fish and a rich colour/broth. The prawns were nice but we didn’t like the wasabi mayo (didn’t pair well/too spicy). Note the mains are not huge (a good thing), but it’s because you get bottomless dimsum. The dessert was quite plain in comparison to everything else and wasn’t soft like a soufflé pancake - was more of a dry cake. Overall, we enjoyed the dimsum and mains and it’s a bargain for the price.
