Homemade Garlic Butter Pizza Ingredients * 1 tsp yeast * 1 tsp sugar * 203 g water (about ¾ cup + 1 tbsp) * 290 g flour (about 2¼ cups) * 1 tbsp olive oil * 1 tsp salt Garlic Butter Topping 1 garlic clove + 2 tbsp olive oil + 2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp chopped Italian parsley Instructions 1. In a bowl, mix the yeast, sugar, and water. Add the flour, salt, and 1 tbsp olive oil all at once and mix until a dough forms. Do several coil folds, then cover and let the dough rest for 20 minutes. 2. Do one more round of coil folds, then cover and let the dough rise on the counter for 2 hours, or until doubled in size. 3. Transfer the dough onto a floured piece of parchment paper. Shape it into a ball, cover with a bowl, and let it rest for 30 minutes. 4. Meanwhile, add 1 garlic clove and 2 tbsp olive oil to a pan. Cook over low heat until the garlic is soft. Add 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp chopped Italian parsley, then mash everything together. 5. Gently flatten the center of the dough, leaving the edges thicker. Spread the garlic butter mixture over the dough, then add shredded cheese. 6.
