@pastorsarahomakwu: Abuse is not a red flag to pray away because you are desperate to get married. It is a warning. If someone is abusive while you are dating or courting, please do not assume marriage will suddenly make them gentle. Marriage does not cure bad character. In many cases, what you are managing now becomes harder to deal with after marriage. And please, do not let anybody frighten you with, “Men are few.” Men are not few! 😂 You do not have to hold on to an abusive relationship because you are afraid nobody else will come. It is better to walk away with a broken heart than to enter a marriage where you will live afraid, diminished or constantly trying to survive. Marriage is too important to enter with your eyes closed. Pay attention to the warning signs.
