rubin is mad because his friend lied to him and allowed rubin to put him in danger every time he drove. he’s trying to protect his friend by forcing him out of the car that almost killed him. why would he invite him to help assist with the race? “oh hey man, you can’t race anymore, but do you wanna fly out and watch someone else do the thing that you love”?? that would be cruel. also why wouldn’t he bring his van there lmao? should he have just stranded his friend with no way to get home after receiving a debilitating injury? what kind of “analysis” is this
